The Rhode Island College Anchormen and the Wheaton (Mass.) College Lyons battled to a 1-1 draw in a intense soccer match. Graduate student forward Jonathan Oliveira scored the equalizer for the Anchormen with a penalty kick in the 78th minute. The Lyons dominated play in the first half, but RIC goalkeeper Jake Reed made several key saves to keep the game close. Both teams tightened up defensively in the second half, resulting in only one shot each for the remainder of the game.
