Ranking the top 10 Texas Longhorns quarterbacks of all time
1. Vince Young (2002-05)
Young was the No. 1 rated high school recruit and joined the Longhorns in 2002, playing behind Chance Mock. He took over the starting job in 2003 and helped the Longhorns to an 11-1 record in 2004, defeating the No. 13-ranked Michigan Wolverines in the Rose Bowl.
Young and the Longhorns were in Pasadena the following season, aiming to capture a national title this time around. They faced the No. 1-ranked and defending national champions USC Trojans and Young had an iconic moment, scoring the game-winning TD, giving Texas its first national title since 1970.
