MANKATO, Minn. – Minnesota State women’s cross country was ranked No. 18 in Wednesday’s USTFCCCA Division II National Division II Week 1 Rankings poll. The Mavericks were previously ranked No. 14 in this year’s preseason USTFCCCA Division II poll. This week, MSU travels to Northfield, Minnesota for a 6K meet, hosted by Carleton College called the Running of the Cows at Bill Huyck Championship Course. The Mavericks did not run last weekend after opening their fall schedule with a sixth-place finish at the Augie Twilight on September 1 at Yankton Trail Park in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
