The Flint Firebirds have hired Brian Gardner as the team’s Director of Communications and Play-by-Play Announcer. Gardner brings 10 years of professional broadcasting experience to the organization, with previous roles in pro hockey, minor league baseball, and college sports. Firebirds President Jeremy Torrey expressed excitement about Gardner’s talents and experience. Gardner will be on the call for Firebirds games throughout the season. Fans can hear him for the first time on September 29 when the Firebirds face off against the Soo Greyhounds.
