Griffon Women take 12th, Men take 8th at Southern Stampede
JOPLIN, Mo. — Griffon Cross Country concluded its second meet of the regular season on Friday at the Southern Stampede, with the women coming in 12th place and the men taking eighth at Tom Rutledge Course. Madison Nash led Missouri Western on the women’s side in the 5,000-meter race, taking 13th with a time of 18:17.88 minutes, the fourth-fastest 5k time in school story. For the men in the 8,000-meter race, Berhe Usman and Kayden Crigger took 20th and 21st at 26:15.90 and 26:15.98, respectively.
