MLB teams with most consecutive division championships

2. New York Yankees (1998-2006)

One of the most dominant teams in MLB history, the early 2000’s Yankees became a legendary dynasty. Led by a core four of Andy Pettitte, Jorge Posada, Mariano Rivera, and Derek Jeter, the Bronx Bombers nine straight AL East division titles, six AL pennants (including four in a row from 1998-2001) and three straight World Series championships. The division title streak ended in the 2007 season, though New York  still made the playoffs as a wild card before being eliminated by Cleveland in the first round.
