No. 8 Lady Flames Place Ninth At Southern Showcase

RESULTS HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The Lee University women’s cross country team finished ninth out of 36 teams Friday morning at the Southern Showcase. The 5K race was hosted by Jacksonville State University at John Hunt Cross Country Course. Ole Miss was the overall team winner with 50 points. Auburn University was second with 87 points, Tulane University was third (94) and the No. 13 team in NCAA Division I Alabama tied Kentucky for fourth with 108 points. The Lady Flames, ranked No. 8 in NCAA DII, collected 239 points for ninth. Lee was the top non-DI team in the meet.…
