‘Birds Take 12th at UCR Invite

RIVERSIDE, Calif.-In one of the most prominent early season races, the Fresno Pacific Men’s Cross Country team finished 12th in heavy competition at the UCR Invite Saturday morning. For the second time in as many races, Banuelos led the Sunbirds with a time of 24:37.7 on the 8k course. His 57th place finish led the FPU scorers. Abesolom Teffra ran a 24:42.7 as the second Sunbird to cross the finish line.
