Eagles ninth at John McNichols Invitational

TERRE HAUTE, Ind.—University of Southern Indiana Men’s Cross Country raced to a ninth-place finish out of 18 teams at the Indiana State University John McNichols Invitational Saturday morning. Senior Mitchell Hopf (Santa Claus, Indiana) and red-shirt freshman Alex Nolan (Evansville, Indiana) paced the Screaming Eagles with respective placements of 21st and 46th. Hopf completed the eight-kilometer course in 24 minutes, 40.8 seconds, while Nolan crossed the finish line in 25:06.3. Junior Dylan Bland (Holland, Indiana) was 61st, while freshman Jackson Collman (Bethalto, Illinois) and junior Brady Terry (Philpot, Kentucky) were 68th and 73rd to round out the Eagles’ top five…
