Men’s Cross Country Finishes Second In Missouri

The New Mexico Highlands men’s cross country team came through on the big stage this weekend as the Cowboys finished second at the Southern Stampede at Missouri Southern State Friday afternoon in Joplin, Missouri. The Cowboys finished second in the field of 16 teams which included Mississippi College, Illinois-Springfield, and host Missouri Southern. Each of those teams were ranked in this week’s USTFCCCA Division II Regional Rankings. The only team to beat the Cowboys was East Central (OK) also ranked in the poll.
