Oesterling, Wells lead women’s XC at John McNichols Invitational
TERRE HAUTE, Ind. — Sophomore Sierra Oesterling placed among the top 30 in leading the Bellarmine University women’s cross country team in a 5k race Saturday morning at Indiana State’s John McNichols Invitational. Bellarmine placed 10th of 18 as a team at Lavern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course. Belmont (60) won the team title, with Indiana (69) and Kansas State (70) not far behind. Oesterling placed 29th and her personal-record 18:21.4 ranks as the 37th-best 5k time in program history. Oesterling has paced the Knights in both races this season.
