PREP FOOTBALL: HAAP falls to Momence

MOMENCE — The Hoopeston Area/Armstrong-Potomac football team fell behind in a big way and could not get on the board in a 48-0 loss to Momence on Friday. The Cornjerkers were down 20-0 after the first quarter and 41-0 at halftime against the Vermilion Valley Conference-leading Redskins. HAAP is 1-3 overall and in the VVC and will return home to face Georgetown-Ridge Farm/Chrisman next week.
