Spartan men carry the pace at Wheaton Invite

The Aurora University men’s cross country team competed at the Gil Dodds Invitational hosted by Wheaton College. The Spartans placed 11th with a score of 346 points. They were the top-finishing NACC school. Sam Brown led the Spartans, scoring 43 points with a time of 26:15.5, a 28 second personal record. Cris Valencia was the next scorer, finishing with 70 points in a time of 27:32.8. The next finishers were Steven Kalish with a time of 27:37.5, and Joshua Beechler with a time of 27:47.0.
