Women’s cross country places fifth in a highly competitive field at the Gil Dodds Invitational

Warrenville, Ill. – The Wheaton cross country teams hosted the annual Gil Dodds Invitational on Saturday morning at St. James Farm Forest Preserve. The Thunder women’s team placed fifth in the ultra competitive 19-team field. The University of Chicago women’s team finished first with 15 points, followed by WashU in second place with 58 points. Hope College scored 81 points in third place, Ripon placed fourth with 176 points and Wheaton rounded out the top-five with 193 points in fifth.
