Women’s Tennis Battles in Opening Match
The Muhlenberg women’s tennis team opened its year with a 7-2 loss at DeSales. The match was much more competitive than the final score would suggest. Four of the six singles matches went to third sets, and all the third sets were 10-6 or closer. Had the Mules won all four three-set matches, they would have won. Sophomore Caitlin Bestrycki (pictured above) prevailed in a competitive No. 2 singles match, 6-4, 6-4.
