Andrew Frezza Named Little East Men’s Cross Country Rookie Runner of the Week

Providence, R.I.—Rhode Island College freshman Andrew Frezza (Johnston, R.I.) was named the Little East Men’s Cross Country Rookie Runner of the Week for his performance at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Sept. 17. Frezza placed 93rd (26:56.14) and was the top rookie runner from the LEC at the race. RIC finished 31st (39 teams) with a team score of 853.0. Boston University won the meet with a score of 42.0. There were 303 competitors in the race and it was an 8K. In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will compete at the Keene State Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 30 (noon).
