Poyer finishes 7th at Elmira Fall Invitational

ELMIRA, N.Y. – The Hobart College golf team competed at the Elmira Fall Invitational this afternoon at the Elmira Country Club, finishing seventh out of 10 teams. The Statesmen finished +54 as a team, three strokes ahead of eighth place finisher, Russell Sage. First-year Gavin Poyer led Hobart with a +9 on the afternoon, finishing tied for seventh out of 51 golfers. Poyer’s seventh-place finish marks his best finish in his first collegiate season for the Statesmen.
