Steinke, Stewart Named Hawai‘i Pacific Health Silversword Athletes of the Week
Chaminade University cross country runners Maria Steinke (Columbus, Ohio/University of Dayton/Bexley HS) and Mason Stewart (Uniontown, Pa./Uniontown) are the Hawai’i Pacific Health Female and Male Silversword Athletes of the Week for competition between Sept. 11 and 17. Steinke was the first Division II runner to cross the finish line at Saturday’s 5-kilometer Chaminade Invitational at Kapiolani Park, crossing the tape at 20 minutes, 17.0 seconds, the fastest time by a Silversword runner on the course.
