The Sun’s three stars from Monday’s high school action

Emma Hulsander Hulsander was the offensive catalyst behind Groton-Dunstable’s 4-1 field hockey victory over Shepherd Hill. Hulsander netted a hat trick and was a force during the Mid-Wach win. Jayden Perez Perez and his Shawsheen Tech teammates weren’t deterred by playing in heavy rain. Perez sparked the 2-1 boys soccer win over Whittier Tech. He set up the first goal and then tallied the game-winner from in close. Melanie Bouzan The Innovation Academy girls volleyball team swept past South Lancaster, 25-10, 25-16, 25-21. Bouzan led the way, collecting 21 assists, eight aces and four digs for the high-flying Hawks.
