Women’s tennis hosts Westminster for PAC match

WAYNESBURG, Pa. (Sept. 19) – The Waynesburg University women’s tennis team hosted Westminster on Tuesday afternoon for a home Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) match. The Yellow Jackets fell 8-1 to the visiting Titans. Waynesburg (0-3, 0-2) avoided a sweep thanks to the efforts of sophomore Aubrey Burns (Kittaning, Pa. / Armstrong), who gutted out a 6-3, 7-5 win at sixth singles. The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Thursday, Sept. 21, when they host La Roche for a non-PAC match. Start time is scheduled for 4 p.m.
