Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Teams Ranked

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The USTFCCCA released its latest Regional and National Coaches’ Poll on Sept. 19. The Providence College women’s cross country team is ranked No. 1 in the Northeast Region and 14th in the nation. The Friar men’s cross country team remains ranked fifth in the Northeast Region. The Providence College men’s and women’s cross-country teams were idle last week. In the Friars’ last meet at the Friar Invitational in Attleboro, Mass. on Sept. 8, the Friar women finished first out of four teams after scoring 25 points.
