Park Center football loses to Spring Lake Park by narrowest of margins

Park Center opened Northstar – West-Maroon Conference play on Sept. 14 with a close 14-13 loss to Spring Lake Park on the road. The result improved Spring Lake Park to 2-1, while Park Center’s record fell to 1-2 overall. The night started well for the hosting Panthers, who scored the game’s only first-half touchdown in the third minute of the first quarter through a four-yard run by Matthew Buren.
