Ranking the top 10 Green Bay Packers wide receivers of all time

10. Billy Howton (1952-58)

While more recent guys like Greg Jennings and Randall Cobb may have put up slightly better numbers in a Packers uniform, what Howton did during the era he played in was impressive. A second-round pick in the 1952 NFL Draft, Howton set a rookie record that stood until 1998 with 13 receiving touchdowns, and also amassed a league-leading 1,231 yards in 1952. He would lead the league in both categories just a few years later in 1956 with 1,188 yards and 12 touchdowns, earning the first of back-to-back first-team All-Pro honors, as well as one of his four career Pro Bowl selections. Howton, a member of the Packers Hall of Fame, finished his time in Green Bay with 303 receptions, 5,581 yards and 43 touchdowns before ending his pro career with the Browns and Cowboys.
