Bucs Drop Conference Opener to Rams

BELOIT, Wis. – This afternoon the Beloit Buccaneer’s (0-7-0) opened up Midwest Conference play against the Rams on Cornell College (2-4-3). Five of the seven total goals were scored in an action packed 2nd half. The Bucs fell behind 0-2 in the first 45, giving up goals in 14th and 29th minutes. Out of the half, the Rams pushed their lead to 4-0 with goals in the 49th and 64th minutes. Derek Veenstra (Three Rivers, MI) broke open the scoring for Beloit when he found the back of the net off a ball that was mishandled by the Cornell keeper.…
