Denton, Sarmiento Lead The Way For Women’s Cross Country at Bard Fred Pavlich Invitational

ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – Freshman Skylar Denton (Syracuse, N.Y.) and senior Dagnelly Sarmiento (Weehawken, N.J.) were the Cougars’ leaders at Bard College’s Fred Pavlich Invitational on Saturday. Denton finished the 6K course in 29:03.2 for 80th place, and Sarmiento was 109th at 33:19.6. Rounding out the Cougar runners were junior Shamica Carey (Nassau, Bahamas; 35:13.2), Chennaya Tschopp (Belleville, N.J.; 44:30.5) and soph Michelle Martignoni Mercado (Fair Lawn, N.J.; 44:31.0).
