Heron runners win Wildcat Classic

UTICA, N.Y.—With three runners in the top 10 and seven in the top 20, the William Smith College cross country team won the Wildcat Classic hosted by SUNY Poly today. Senior Ainsley Woods was the top Heron finisher on the 6-kilometer course, placing fourth out of 58 runners. The Herons ran a 6K for the second time this season and Woods improved her time by more than 34 seconds over last week’s Yellowjacket Invitational. This week, she clocked in at 24:39.7.
