Central boys stun Spartans and more from Saturday’s high school soccer action
Alex Dodd The Rapid City Central boys soccer team played 80 minutes of shut down defense to defeat Spearfish 1-0 on Saturday at Sioux Park. The two squads entered the break in a scoreless draw. Kael LeBeau gave the Cobblers the lead in the 73rd minute and they held on to secure the victory. “Today was a good win,” Central head coach Joe Sabrowski said in a statement. “And it was much needed for these boys to show them wee can defend for 80 minutes and move the ball effectively as a unit.” Central limited the Spartans to five shots…
