Men’s Golf: Blankinship Wins Midwest Region Fall Classic

KANSASVILLE, Wis. – Macalester College first year Luke Blankinship (Louisville, Colo./Boulder) earned medalist honors at the Midwest Region Fall Classic, held Friday and Saturday at Brighton Dale Links. As a team the Scots finished seventh in the 40-team event. After a first-round score of 70 on Friday, Blankinship shot a 6-under par 66 on Saturday to win the tournament by one shot over Rajveer Sethi of Illinois Wesleyan in a field of 206 players.
