Pando named LSC Runner of the Week

WICHITA FALLS, Texas — Midwestern State’s Ella Pando garnered Lone Star Conference Runner of the Week honors as released Monday afternoon by league officials. The sophomore from Weatherford, Texas, paced the Mustangs to a fifth-place team showing in the Oklahoma State Cowboy Jamboree Saturday at the Greiner Family Cross Country Course. Pando finished 50th overall, completing the 6K course in 23:48.00. The time was the fifth fastest by an NCAA Division II student-athlete at the meet and was tops among the six LSC program at the competition.
