• NAME: Matthew Roettger • SPORT: Football • SCHOOL: Peru • GRADE: Senior • ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Roettger quarterbacked Class 3A No. 11-ranked Peru to a 34-23 victory over Rochester in a battle for the Three Rivers Conference lead. He completed 4 of 5 passes for 119 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 128 yards and two more scores. The Bengal Tigers improved to 6-0 overall and 5-0 in the TRC.
