It’s unclear if Ewers received the car as a part of a NIL deal with a car dealership. But, it seems likely that the car was self-purchased considering that UT wide receiver Xavier Worthy was the one who revealed the car on his Instagram story.
“I think it’s awesome,” Ewers told KXAN about the NIL era. “I think it’s a great deal that players are finally getting paid. You know all this hard work that we do with summer workouts, all this fall camp and film studies, I think it’s a great deal that we can finally get paid.”
