Herons place 2nd in Keuka Fall Invitational

PENN YAN, N.Y.—The William Smith College golf team placed second in the Keuka College Fall Invitational at Lakeside Country Club today. The Herons had three golfers finish in the top five of the 23-golfer field. Sophomore Caroline Gannon was the tournament’s runner-up. She shot an 89, finishing just one shot off the lead. Senior Justine Burness was third, carding a 95, and classmate Ashley Byron was fifth with a round of 101.
