Just over two decades ago, Heather Lee set foot on the Campbell University campus after a 52-hour drive from her home in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Over the next four years, she would establish herself as one of the greatest distance runners in school and Atlantic Sun Conference history. Along the way, she set school records in eight events, was named the school’s outstanding female athlete three times, and also found the time to serve twice as President of the student-athlete advisory committee.
