While many had been actively waiting for freshman Arch Manning to get his start at Texas before the year, Ewers has quickly made many forget about the Class of 2023’s top recruit. With their win over Alabama, Ewers and the Longhorns have continued to roll early on, as the former transfer quarterback has elevated his play from a year ago with over 1,000 passing yards and a perfect, 9-0, touchdown-to-interception ratio. If Ewers can continue to knock down some of college football’s top teams, he’ll get his moment sooner rather than later.
