Fisher Named MEAC Women’s Cross Country Runner Of The Week

NORFOLK, Va. (Sept. 27, 2023)–Morgan State junior Abigail Fisher was named Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week, presented by Coca-Cola, the conference office announced today. A native of Clarendon, Jamaica, Fisher captured gold at the Soaring Hawks Invitational this past Sunday, finishing the 5K run in a time of 20:41.8. Fisher’s time paced the Bears, who claimed the team title with 16 points. Morgan State placed runners in the top four spots and finished with six in the top seven.
