Freshmen lead Trees at Nike XC Town Twilight

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Freshmen Parker Mimbela and Brenna Sobecki paced Indiana State’s contingent at the Nike XC Town Twilight Friday night, leading the way for the Sycamores at LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course. Sobecki was the top finisher for the Trees in 13th, her 6k time coming in at 23:47.0. Robyn Schemel also secured a top-15 finish in the women’s 6k with a time of 23:56.3, while Kamilla Gibson placed 21st with a time of 24:31.4.
