Van Houten Represents Hofstra at Battle in Beantown
Boston, MA – Hofstra men’s cross country junior Zach Van Houten represented the Pride at Boston College’s Battle in Beantown 8K race. Van Houten, a East Meadow, New York, native finished in a time of 24:36.7, placing him 25th in the 142-runner field. Harvard’s Graham Blanks took first and finished the 8K race in 23:26.0. Ryan Kinnane from Auburn finished in 23:48.9 and took second place. As a team, Harvard won with 47 points. Northeastern and Cornell followed with 98 and 116 points respectively.
