Odle, Ackard claim first at Brissman-Lundeen Invitational

ROCK ISLAND — The Augustana Vikings cross country team hosted the 41st annual Brissman-Lundeen Invitational on Saturday at Saukie Golf Course, with each the women’s and men’s teams boasting individual winners. Emma Odle was the champion in the women’s race after crossing the finish line first with a time of 22:57.1, good for 45 seconds ahead of the second-place finisher. Despite the heat, Odle’s time crushed a lifetime best as she improved on her race at last year’s Brissman-Lundeen race by over a minute.
