Cardinals Secure Draw With Late Penalty Kick

LIBERTY, Mo – The William Jewell mens soccer team recorded their second straight draw, this time against the Missouri S&T Miners. The 2-2 tie moved the Cardinals to 0-7-2 on the year, and 0-4-2 in conference play. HOW IT HAPPENED Miners converted a penalty kick to take the early 1-0 lead. Jewell put four shots up in the first half, one on goal by Alexis Ibarra, but was unable to connect. Down by two, Cole Bulgren scored assisted by Brian Vidal to cut the lead to one.
