Golf Competes at Southside Country Club, Pair of Top 10 Finishes

DECATUR, Ill. – The North Park men’s and women’s golf teams competed at the Butts & Dechert Classic at Southside Country Club this past weekend. Freshman Alexander Remahl was a bright spot for the Vikings, finishing top 10 in a field of 43 competitors. Remahl shot a 76 on day one before shooting even par at 71 on day 2, securing a T8 placing with a +5 score (147). For the women, junior Kelly Deterding also cracked into the top 10 out of a field of 55 competitors. Deterding placed T10 with a 168 (+24) two-day total. What’s Next? North…
