Wesleyan Drops Road Match to West Liberty 2-1

The West Virginia Wesleyan College women’s soccer team traveled to West Liberty University Sunday and dropped a close contest, 2-1. Statistically, the teams ended the day evenly matched. Both teams notched 16 shots, corners were 5-4 in favor of the West Liberty, and saves were seven for the Bobcats’ Alyssa Williams and five for the Hilltoppers’ Zara Wickert. All scoring came in just a single, three-minute time span.
