Gritty Draws Break 21-Game Losing Streak vs WWU
LACEY, Wash. – The Saint Martin’s women’s soccer team (3-2-3, 1-1-2 GNAC) finished off an unbeaten week Saturday after lots of success against GNAC foes, first, a milestone draw with defending National Champions Western Washington University 0-0, before a tie with Simon Fraser as well 1-1. The draw with Western Washington was the first positive result versus the Vikings for SMU since 2010 when the Saints defeated WWU 2-1.
