Swanson Named OVC Runner Of The Week

Tweet #WinTheMoment Eastern Illinois fifth year runner Adam Swanson has been named the Ohio Valley Conference Male Runner of the Week following his performance last weekend at the Louisville XC Classic. Swanson finished fifth in a field of 378 at the Live in the Lou Cross Country Classic held in Louisville, Kentucky. He covered the 8K course in a time of 23:48.9, which is the top time in the OVC this season. The field was full of nationally and regionally-ranked teams, with Eastern Illinois finishing 23rd.
