McCarty named Male Athlete of the Month for September

DAYTON — Alex McCarty, a member of the Wright State men’s cross country program, has been named the September Male Athlete of the Month. McCarty finished the month with a pair of top-five finishes. The Eaton, Ohio native raced to fifth overall with a time of 24:49.8 in the 8,000-meter race at the All-Ohio Intercollegiate Challenge (9/15) en route to Men’s Division I Individual Champion honors while also setting a program course record.
