Sadie Sigfstead Named BIG EAST Female Athlete of the Week

VILLVANOA, Penn.—Villanova cross country junior Sadie Sigfstead (Edmonton, Alta.) was selected as the BIG EAST Female Athlete of the Week the conference office announced Wednesday. Sigfstead outran a field of 159 participants to finish second in the Coast-To-Coast Battle in Beantown to capture her second consecutive BIG EAST honor. Sigfstead crossed the line just behind the 2023 Outdoor 1500m National Champion, Maia Ramsden from Harvard.
