Three Freshmen Produce First-Half Goals as Women’s Soccer Tops Chicago State
FARMINGDALE, N.Y. — A trio of freshman scored first-half goals as the LIU women’s soccer team topped Chicago State, 3-1, on Wednesday afternoon in a match played in Farmgindale. Paige LeTourneau, Stephanie Schubert and Casey Beauregard all score in the opening 29 minutes of the nonconference game as LIU built a three-goal lead. The Sharks return to conference play on Sunday when they host FDU at 11 a.m.
