Volleyball Tripped Up By Wilmington

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Capital University volleyball team once again came out of the gates strong, winning the first set, but fell 3-1 at the end. Wilmington (8-8, 1-1 OAC) took the sets 22-25, 25-23, 25-22, 25-17. Capital now rests at 6-12 overall with an 0-2 OAC mark. For Capital, the Comets landed 54 kills, led by big outings from Lindsay Rich and Larissa Smith. Rich tied her career-high with 19 kills, while Smith landed a new career-high with 15 kills.
