Wheaton women’s golf team starts three-day stay at CCIW Championship

Metamora, Ill. — The 2023 CCIW Women’s Golf Championship got underway in central Illinois this morning, and the three-day event sees players from all nine member institutions competing in a 54-hole format. While Wheaton will not register a team score at this weekend’s competition, all three players on the Thunder roster are taking part in this year’s tournament. The three Wheaton teammates could not be separated on Thursday, as Arabella Hall, Sohee Kang, and Lizzy Stone each registered a round one score of 84 (+13).
