Colby Drops to #1 Ranked Middlebury

Waterville, Maine – This afternoon, Colby College Field Hockey fell to a strong Middlebury team who showed why they are the number one seed in the nation. Although both teams were tied going into half, Middlebury pulled away to win 5-1 taking the Mules’ record to 3-7 while Middlebury stayed undefeated. Although there were no goals in the first quarter, goalie Emily Loeb surely had her hands full as she faced six shots over the first fifteen minutes.
