Field hockey outlasts Allegheny
MEADVILLE, Pa. – The Earlham College field hockey team outlasted Allegheny College with a shootout victory in North Coast Athletic Conference competition on Saturday. The Quakers improved to 2-8 on the season. Earlham withstood 21 shots in the contest to hold the Gators scoreless through 80 minutes. Piper Brill led the EC offense with five shots, the freshman placed three of them on cage. Rachel Alma made eight saves in the game, and had five missed penalty shots in the shootout.
